In the summer holidays we heard that Qi Quan Yang had been awarded a Certificate of Distinction for the Olympiad paper (the follow-on round) of the Junior Maths Challenge which she took in Year 7.  This is a fantastic achievement.

More than 250,000 sat the maths challenge, and Qi Quan was one of 1200 who were invited to take the advanced exam. The knowledge and skills required are beyond the range of normal school work and only 300 people received a certificate of Distinction.

Many congratulations to Qi Quan.
