On Friday 10th December, we were lucky enough to partake in a tutorial in Taiko drumming. We had a professional drummer, Mark Alcock, teach us the basics of Taiko drumming. We learnt the technique behind using 'shime-daiko' (small drum) and 'oke-daiko' (borrel drum) and we performed a short and simple piece using the skills we acquired throughout the lesson. This experience was memorable, as well as enjoyable and has sparked a new enthusiasm within the participants for Taiko drumming. とても楽しかったです (^-^)!(It was awesome!  J)
