2009 Free Spirit Competition

We were delighted to hear of the success of our some of our talented linguists in the 2009 Free Spirit National Poetry and Song Competition. Hannah Blows, Chloe Clerck, Gayle Griffiths, Pooja Patel, Xiaohe Sun and Ayesha Williams are celebrating news of their win in the languages song section for their original Japanese composition: The Cake Song! They were accompanied by their teacher, Hiroshi Okura on the piano.

Prizes were presented to these winners by the judges from the Japanese Embassy on Monday 22 June at the Goethe Institute, after they performed their piece.
