Field Trips

Our second visit to the Opal Coast, France, with the whole of Year 7 was another great success! The French and Geography Departments planned an exciting itinerary, with visits to an organic apple farm, a slightly smelly cheese farm, Boulogne’s historic old town, the bustling market at Le Touquet and not forgetting the sweet factory! Each day the girls practised their French as well as developing their geographical skills, such as field sketching, annotating maps and asking questionnaires (in French of course!).

A selection of girls’ diaries appear on the website in the meantime here are some photos showing how much fun we all had! Thanks must go to the other 12 staff that accompanied us on the trip, without them it would not have been possible.
