Field Trips

On Wednesday 17th March the Year 8s had a great day at Kew Gardens, investigating different plant adaptations in contrasting world biomes. The weather outside was superb and the girls really noticed the changing conditions within each of the glasshouses - glasses steamed up in the Palm House and we felt the gusts of wind in the Alpine House. The girls completed excellent workbooks and took numerous photos, which we hope they will enter into the Geography Society Photo Competition.
