Messy Chemistry

Monday 12 November 2008 was the start of Science Week at JAGS. It kicked off with 'Messy Chemistry'! In the back of the lab there was a chemical reaction going on with cold, solid Carbon Dioxide and water. The water combined with the carbon dioxide produced a cool puff of cloud. You could even touch the cloud!

However, I enjoyed the 'Making Slime' activity. You add some Borax, PVA solution and add a drop of food colouring and you have yourself some slime. This was really enjoyable and I can't wait for next year's Science Week.
