As part of their GCSE Art coursework unit exploring Pattern and Form, Year 10, along with their teachers, Mr Grant, Miss Riddell, Mrs Firth and Mr Carter, spent the Monday 8 November drawing at the Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington. This proved to be an inspirational trip as the pupils were able to discover their subject matter in a diverse range of artefacts from all over the world . The girls were divided into four groups and with their teacher had drawing sessions in the Great Cast Court, Wrought Iron collection, Textiles department and Islamic collection. There was some great drawing produced which will feed into their project work. Our thanks go to Miss Riddell for organising a great trip.
