JAGS has a thriving music department which puts on over 35 concerts and events every year. From major concerts in St John’s , Smith Square to small and relaxed informal concerts. On this page you will find details of forthcoming events, links to letters and information about rehearsals for participants and other useful information. Jazz Night
Friday 20 June 2008, 7.00 – 10.00pm
Holst Hall
Tickets: £5 (£3 concessions)
The Jazz Night is a JAGS institution with an evening presented by school ensembles including the Big Band, Jazz band, Sax Groups and Jazz ‘combos’ alongside a few solo items for senior girls. There is a pay bar with a variety of snacks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and tables so that you can make a night of it.

JAGS Choral Society Concert
Sunday 22 June 2008, 6.00 – 7.15pm
Holst Hall
Tickets: £5 (£3 concessions)
The JAGS Choral Society concert includes a compete performance of Mozart’s Requiem with orchestra and professional soloists.

Founder’s Concert
Tuesday 1 July 2008, 7.30 – 10.00pm
St Barnabas Church , Calton Avenue, SE21
Tickets: £5 (£3 concessions – schoolchildren free)
Our final concert of the year is always an exciting and sad occasion as we say goodbye to another raft of Year 13 students. The concert features the Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, Concert Orchestra, Whole School Choir, Holst Chamber Choir, JAGS Madrigalists and Recorder Consort.
