Saturdays 9am-2pm (for JASSPA parents and pupils)

Wow! It’s a ‘proper’, smart Café, built over the deep end of the former swimming pool, where in term-time pupils, parents and staff can choose a hot breakfast (including porridge, croissants, pain au chocolat, free range eggs or toasties) or a chilled start to the day with freshly squeezed fruit drinks, cereals or yogurt and granola pots, and more.

After school the Café attracts a lot of interest from pupils seeking to re- energise for the many extra-curricular activities running, or just to fuel the journey home. Never did a muffin taste so good.

There are some perks to being older: senior girls have the enviable privilege of buying coffees and snacks at other times too.

On Saturdays the wider JAGS community moves in:  JASSPA parents can get a well-earned rest and a tea or coffee, a freshly-baked baguette, even a surreptitious slice of cake; reading a book outside the Café on the terrace when the sun’s out...What could be better?   Unless, of course, you want to try using your laptop? The café is a hotspot with free wireless internet facility on Saturdays.
