James Allen's Girls' School ('the School' or 'JAGS' or 'the Charity) is a company limited by guarantee (registered in England number 6618970) with charitable status (charity number 1124853).  The directors of the company, who are also charity trustees and Governors of the School, present their annual report and audited accounts for the year ended 31 July 2009 ('Accounts') and confirm they comply with the requirements of the Charities Act 1993 as amended by the Charities Act 2006, the Scheme (Trust Deed) dated 31 July 1995 (as amended), the Charities SORP 2005 and the Companies Acts 2006.
