We have just started to provide facilities and sixth form volunteers for this very worthwhile cause. Every Sunday a group meets in our sixth form block. Volunteers are a crucial part of Resources for Autism’s team, and make a huge contribution to Reach Out and other areas of their work.
Volunteering for Resources for Autism is fun and rewarding but is hard work. The charity supports people from different ages, races and genders on the autistic spectrum and with our volunteers engage with families so that they can have a short term break.
Resources for Autism welcomes volunteers from all walks of life and nationalities, but with one thing in common, the desire to help families who have a child, teenager or adult with autism. The volunteers can see, over a period of time, just what a difference their support is making.
