34 girls from the year of 1980 wanted to come to the Reunion at JAGS on Saturday 24 April spearheaded by Sarah Young (Gbedemah) and Ruth Burtonshaw (Gibberd).  Unfortunately, 4 were not able to be there on the day – Suyin Tan couldn’t get out of Australia due to volcanic ash flight restrictions.  Kathryn Whinney did manage to get out of Australia, but became stuck in Thailand due to the ash, and didn’t get to the UK until the day following the Reunion. However, the 30 girls who made it had a fabulous time!  Many had not been back to the school for 30 years, and refound old friends.  Sarah had the music of the era playing during lunch - a delicious buffet.  After a tour of the school, they all went on to The Dog and carried on partying!
