Alumnae Reunion Lunch 2010
Annual Alumnae Reunion
8 May 2010
|
The weather may not have been up to much, but 120 former JAGS pupils were in cracking form! 6 girls from the Years of 1935 – 1950 enjoyed a table together. Barbara Buckland from the Year of 1935, aged 92, was our most senior alumna, and our youngest guest was the 5 month old son of Ruth Peters (Fisher) from the Year of ’99. Yvadney Davis (Thompson) spearheaded the Year of ’99 reunion and there was a very good showing. The largest numbers of alumnae came to the Reunion for the year of ‘60, spearheaded by Pat Price-Tomes (Balaam) and Ruth Cousins (Vigurs) although the Year of ‘58, headed by Hilary Devonshire were very close behind. Daphne Clayton (Butler) led a large band of ‘Jaguars’ from the year of ’51 and Judy Ratzin, Year of ’85 hosted an excellent turnout from that year. After a delicious lunch the girls were free to go to the library to see the excellent archive material put on display by Cynthia Pullin, our Librarian and Archivist, and then wander round the school.
Next year’s lunch is on Saturday 14 May 2011.
