James Allen's Girls' School GCSE and A-Level Results 2017

A LEVELS (100 STUDENTS)

  • 30% of all results were graded A*
  • Half the students achieved at least 3 A* or A grades
  • 70% of all results were graded A* or A

GCSE RESULTS (116 STUDENTS)

  • 93% of all results were A* or A
  • Average of 7 A*s per student
  • Over 95% of results in English, Maths, Modern languages and the sciences were A* or A's

Many of our year 2017 leavers are heading off to universities all over the country to study a vast range of subjects including Aerospace Engineering, Medicine, Law and Biochemistry. Some students are taking different career options including an apprenticeship in the Civil Service, an internship at a publisher and a scholarship scheme at Deloitte. Others have chosen to pursue a variety of gap year plans in the UK and overseas.
